SENATOR OSITA NGWU ASSURES THE CHURCH OF CONTINUOUS SUPPORT TOWARDS EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT
The Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District and Senate Minority Whip, Senator Osita Ngwu, has assured the Church of his continuous support and partnership towards education development in the zone. The Senator made this promise on Wednesday, 26th November 2025, to the Anglican Diocese of Udi at the 25th Anniversary of Holy Child Convent, Nachi.
The Senator, who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant (SSA), Media and Communication, Hon. Nonso Ezenwoma, assured the Church of continuous partnership with both the state government and the church to ensure quality education for the people, stating that he is always committed to positively impacting and enhancing the conducive learning environment in Enugu West, through his many initiatives and investment on education.

He commended Holy Child Convent, Nachi, for being a place where moral and academic excellence is the hallmark, thereby maintaining their motto since its inception, which is “Purity and Excellence”.
The Senator equally applauded the Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for creating an enabling environment for education to thrive and holistically transforming the education sector in the state through his Smart Green School initiative.
The event attracted many dignitaries within the Diocese and beyond, including the Bishop of the Diocese of Udi Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. C.A. Aneke, and his amiable wife, Mrs. Comfort Aneke (Nneudo); the traditional ruler of Nachi community, HRM Igwe C.C.
