Man Buried In Shallow Grave In Eke Town Of Udi Local Government Area

A man, identified as Mr. Zel Omulu has been buried in a shallow grave in Eke.

According to eye witnesses, the shallow grave was discovered, following a heavy downpour the previous night, which exposed the grave with stench smell all over the community.

According to sources, Mr. Omulu left his home on Saturday evening and never returned, after the heavy downpour on Thursday night, a stenchy smell was introduced in the community, which prompted the youths of Eke to go in search of the source of the smell, until they found the shallow grave where Zel Omulu was buried. The 9th mile security agencies had taken custody of his remains and deposited in the morgue, efforts to reach the Enugu State PPRO CSP Daniel Ndukwe proved abortive at the time of filing his report.

The elders of Eke has called on Enugu state government and security agencies to investigate the matter and bring perpetrators to book.

Eke youth leaders have also sued for peace and calm to allow relevant agencies have a proper investigation.
