The Council Chairman of Udi Local Government Area, Hon. Hyginus Agu has reaffirmed that Udi Local Government is 100% PDP.
The active mayor made this statement during the monthly meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party in Udi Local Government.
Agu stated that the people are seeing what his father, the governor is doing in Enugu state, which is being replicated in Udi Local Government.
According Agu, “with the level of work done so far in Enugu state, I am sure we can score Gov. Peter Mbah 100% any time, move around the council and see what we are doing, the state government is giving us every necessary backing”.

After a word of appreciation to immediate past council chairman, Nze Philip Okoh, Agu furthered that the party belongs to all Udi people, thanking Gov. Peter Mbah, Senator Osita Ngwu and Udi members in the house of assembly for transforming Udi into a construction site, courtesy of their people oriented governance.
“This party belongs to all of us, I want to thank our Senator, our governor, Udi is now a construction site, courtesy of our governor, our Senator and our reps from the state House of assembly. Dear people of Udi, what we are practicing now is reward for hard work and excellence”.
Agu thanked Udi people for always coming out en masse to support the governor and other state actors, he assured Udi people that in no distant time, people will be rewarded for hard work and contributions to the party. All rewards will be on merit, he said, as he advised party faithfuls to keep up with all the good they do, assuring that the world and leaders are watching.
Highlights of the meeting include; breaking of kola nut, words of encouragement from party leaders, Report from wards, refreshment, among other activities.
The meeting was well attended by state executives and governor’s appointees from Udi local government, members of house of assembly from Udi LG, appointees of the national assembly representative, top government functionaries, party representatives from the state, councillors, president generals, and party faithfuls.
