Obinagu community of Udi Local Government Area had a massive turnout, Saturday, in support of the All Progressives Congress APC, and in honor of the membership revalidation led by Chief Emmanuel Eneukwu.
The National Deputy Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emmanuel Eneukwu revalidated his membership of the party at his political ward, Obinagu, in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, reenergizing the political awareness at the grassroots.
The revalidation exercise, which witnessed an impressive turnout of party members and residents, was conducted to enable APC members in the ward to formally register and actively participate in the party’s activities, in line with the development strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as well as the leadership and governance drive of the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
Addressing the party faithful, Chief Eneukwu urged all eligible members of Obinagu ward to seize the opportunity to revalidate their membership and register with the All Progressives Congress, stressing that active participation at the ward level is vital to both nation building and strengthening the party and making it one united front.
He described the exercise as a renewed call to unity, commitment, and collective responsibility as the APC prepares for future political engagements, emphasizing on the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
Addressing Obinagu political ward during the reception, the local government chairman of Udi, Engr. Hyginus Agu called on Obinagu people to emulate the party stalwart by participating in the revalidation and registration processes stressing that there is renewed hope connecting the dots to the center.

Stakeholders at the event described the revalidation exercise as a strong signal of unity and renewed commitment to strengthening the APC structure at the grassroots level in Enugu State. They noted that the coming together of major political actors from Obinagu under one umbrella symbolises a new political direction for the community.
As preparations begin in earnest for the 2027 elections, party members and supporters declared that Obinagu has firmly aligned with the APC, describing the development as “all the big fish coming together under one broom.” In all ramifications, they declared Obinagu for APC.
The event was greeted with widespread jubilation as residents and party supporters trooped out in large numbers to demonstrate solidarity with their illustrious son. Many described the occasion as a remarkable and historic moment for Obinagu, noting that it was the first time key political figures from the community converged openly under the APC platform.
Prominent political personalities present include; the former Executive Chairman of Udi Local Government Area, Nze Philip Nnamdi Oko, and the Enugu State Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Barr. C.O.C. Egumgbe, who joined Chief Eneukwu in the party, further strengthening the APC’s presence in the area.
The gathering also attracted other high-profile party leaders and stakeholders, including the Chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee in Enugu State, Dr. Ben Nwoye; The APC Caretaker Chairman in Udi LGA Barr. Bona Madu, as well as other notable political leaders from Obinagu and other parts of Enugu State.
