Mr. Livinus Ikechukwu Ejiofor Under Threat To Life By Fulani Herdsmen For Lending Voice To The Murdering And Abductions Within Eke
According to sources in Eke who confirmed the situation of things, they stated that one morning after a regular routine night patrols by the Eke Security watch, on their way home, they picked a paper on a path that leads directly to Livinus compound, and when they red the note on the paper, it was a direct threat to Mr. Livinus and his family threatening to eliminate him or any of his family members should he utter a word on security matters within the area again, claiming that his strategies may lead to their unrest.
As a follow up to the notes of threats, Eke Tv reports that there have been some traces of strange movements around the country home of Mr. Livinus Ejiofor in Oma Eke, indicating the herder’s unwavering plans to deal with Mr. Livinus and family, despite several pleas to the Nigeria Police Force in Enugu to protect Mr. Livinus Ejiofor.
As a retired public civil servant, instead of returning home to enjoy his retirement with his people, he left his family in far Port Harcourt due to the fear of the unknown. According to close family members, they have called on the state government to protect their son who has served the country and the state in different capacities as attempts has been made to take his life in his ancestral home and to his family, now residence in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. They also called the local government chairman of Udi to take immediate action to forestall the evil plans of the herders.
They wrote;
“Livinus Ikechukwu Ejiofor, a prominent son of Eke town in Udi Local government area is under life threats by the Fulani Herders who would do anything to ensure he is eliminated”. According to them; Livinus is the director of a security company known as JOSEJI Security Guard company limited, known for its proactive roles in supporting other security and paramilitary agencies in combating crime, registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission with offices in Enugu and Portharcourt.
The security firm secures many offices, companies, and offers technical assistance to Eke security network, it also offers training of staff on safety measures and use of safety equipment. It has through it’s professionalism uncovered many criminal activities within Eke town.

He has used his experience and expertise in security affairs to tactfully dislodge the Fulani Herdsmen terrorizing, killing, kidnapping the community. He has proffered solutions to the handling of the Fulani Herdsmen menace and this has put his life in line. He is wanted by the Herdsmen who has put a bounty on his head. Several attempts has been made on his life in his ancestral home and to his family, now residence in Port Harcourt.
