Why Moringa?

After conducting extensive research, I am pleased to announce that the Moringa Oleifera tree has been selected for this project. Here’s why:

Moringa trees are also highly economically valuable, with a global market worth approximately $16.37 billion.

The leaves are in high demand for the production of; food, Modern and herbal medicines, Cosmetic products, Animal feed supplement and Fertilizer, etc.

The seeds are used to produce; Vegetable cooking oil, Machine oil, Perfume oil, Skin and hair care products, Animal feed supplement, Fertilizer, Water purification products etc.

This project aims to;

Combat Climate Change:

By planting a large number of Moringa trees, we can significantly contribute to reducing carbon emissions and adding to the carbon credit of the state and the nation at large.

Economic Impact:

We believe that Moringa trees can generate economic benefits for the local community and beyond. This will be achieved through job creation and profit generation from the byproducts of the trees.

Research Opportunities:

This project also has the potential to enhance medical, agricultural, and industrial research in Southeast Nigeria and the nation at large.

Remember, Enugu State University of Science and Technology has kindly allocated 4 hectares of land for this project.

Join us on June 5th-6th, 2025, as we embark on this groundbreaking record attempt.

Let’s work together to make a positive impact on the environment and the economy.
